Sobireen Ambulance was formed to compliment the service offerings of As-Sobireen Nursing Care Sdn. Bhd. (915634-U) (“ASN Care”) which was established in January 2015. At ASN Care, we provide mobile nursing and medical care in the comfort of patients’ home.
Due to encouraging requests from our existing patients, we are pleased to offer our ambulance services to cater for their transportation needs. Our ambulance is fully equipped to serve sportings events, conventions, exhibitions and small to medium scale gatherings.
In keeping with the ethos of our core services of nursing and medical care, we put our patient’s needs and comfort first to ensure that their health and safety are in the best care prior to pre-hospitalisation.
At Sobireen Ambulance, our team members work together to ensure a continuous chain of survival for our patients. We strive to continually train our team members to equip them with the necessary and latest medical skills in trauma and emergencies in facing various situations.
Our ambulance team comprises of medically trained drivers, male and female medical assistants and nurses and physiotherapists. We also provide paramedics with varying levels of training (upon request and additional charges are applicable).
The following are the basic competencies of our paramedics:
Level 1: Paramedic Basic Level
· Basic Health Sciences
· Assessment of a casualty and continuous monitoring
· Casualty Aid
Level 2: Paramedic Intermediate Level
· Additional Knowledge Depth and Clinical experience.
Most of our team members have the following certifications:

·Training in Intravenous therapy

Our team members can perform the following (not exhaustive):
Resuscitation of a cardiac arrest victim according to BCLS and ACLS procedure
Wound dressing and treatment, and external bleeding management.
Fracture immobilization to avoid secondary injury
Spinal management to avoid secondary injury
Assist physicians and nurses for invasive therapeutic procedures
Casualty vital signs monitoring
Our ambulances are extensively equipped to provide pre-hospital care and required medical attention.
Our ambulances are high-roofed and wide bodied to give ample cabin room for our patients and our medical team looking after them.
Our ambulances transport our patients to their required destination of a specific private or government hospital or to their home to be with their loved ones.
We will prepare the necessary documentation (subject to the hospital’s administration’s approval) for the handover or takeover of the patient.
Patients shall receive professional medical care from our team throughout the journey in the ambulance.

Our stretcher mattresses are covered with fresh disposable cover, in addition, every patient is carried on a disposable draw sheet to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
We regularly disinfect our ambulance to conform to the industry’s standards.
Our ambulances are equipped with a comprehensive set of equipment amongst others, providing oxygen, performing medical care such as suctioning, head and neck stabilization, spinal immobilization and resuscitation, We have built in stretcher to ensure safer rides for our patients.
