MEET THE FOUNDERS

An Advocate and Solicitor for the High Courts of Malaya for more than 15 years, Sabrina studied law at Warwick University, United Kingdom and was awarded LL.B (Honours) and thereafter proceeded to pursue her Masters in Law (LL.M) majoring in Internet Law at Monash University, Melbourne.Together with the co-founders of ASN Care, Sabrina established the company on 1st January 2015 and has led the growth of ASN Care from 4 registered nurses to 20 personnels comprising medical assistants, registered nurses, physiotherapists and certified caregivers, caring for hundreds of patients throughout the years.


Her interest in post hospitalisation care at home, began from her personal experience having to nurse a terminally ill family member. From her profound experience, she decided to start a home care medical and nursing services that will assist patients and family members post hospitalisation, by providing professional nursing care and assisting in guiding the patients’ family members with the best informed nursing and medical information.

Safiuddin hails from Batu Pahat, Johor and obtained his Diploma of Nursing from Institute of Science and Technology Darul Takzim (Insted) in 2011. Prior to co-founding ASN Care in 2015, Safiuddin had worked with an established home nursing medical company for three years and gained in depth knowledge on home care nursing skills and expertise.


As the Operations and Projects Director of ASN Care, Safiuddin plays an instrumental role in establishing Sobireen Ambulance Sdn Bhd (a sister company of ASN Care) in 2019. Safiuddin has also undertaken a post basic course majoring in advance wound care from Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya in 2016, and is now a qualified Enterostomal Therapy Nurse. His certification is awarded by the World Congress of Enterostomal Therapy (WCET), and is recognised globally.


From the year 2015, Safiuddin has also participated extensively in local and international humanitarian missions in Cambodia, Nepal and Afghanistan and these missions helped develop his skills and expertise in emergency nursing care for the victims of the said nations.

Farhan originates from Sg. Rambai, Melaka and obtained his Diploma of Nursing from Bukit Merah Laketown College in 2013. Upon his graduation in 2013, he furthered his studies and attended the Occupational Safety Health Course with the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Similar to Safiuddin, Farhan had also began his career in home nursing care with an established home nursing medical company specialising in gerontology care.


As the General Manager and Human Resources Director of ASN Care, Farhan is in charge of the coordination of ASN Care’s workforce, which currently stands at a stronghold of 20 employees. In early 2019, Farhan successfully attended and completed the Occupational Health Nurse course with NIOSH.


Farhan has for the past five years participated in humanitarian missions in remote areas of Kelantan, Sibu Sarawak and Semporna Sabah, applying his nursing skills in mobile clinics offering medical and nursing services to the underprivileged in the said areas.

Eddy originates from Sg. Rambai, Melaka and obtained his Diploma of Nursing from Institute of Science and Technology Darul Takzim (Insted) in 2011. Prior to co-founding ASN Care in 2015, Eddy worked with an established home nursing medical company for three years and gained in depth knowledge on home care nursing skills and expertise.


Eddy is also passionate in championing recognition of male nurses in the healthcare industry in Malaysia. He has held the position of Secretary in the Malaysian Male Nurses Association (MMN). In August 2019, Eddy attended the Advanced Life Support course conducted by Jabatan Kecemasan dan Trauma Hospital Melaka.

Asrul was born and raised in Besut, Terengganu and obtained his Diploma of Nursing from Kolej Universiti Islam Selangor in 2013. Prior to co-founding ASN Care in 2015, Asrul had begun his career in home care nursing with a home nursing medical company and gained vast experience especially in the care of renal failure patients.


Asrul holds the portfolio of Finance Director in ASN Care, and has managed the fiscal responsibility  of ASN Care since 2015.

At ASN Care, our team members work together to ensure that our patients receive professional nursing, ambulation treatment and care. We also aim to assist our patients with the highest standards in performing their daily activities and tasks. Additionally, we strive to continually train our team members to equip them with the necessary and latest medical skills in trauma and emergencies in facing various dire situations.


Our team comprises medically well trained caregivers, male and female medical assistants, nurses and physiotherapists. We also provide paramedics with varying levels of training (upon request and additional charges are applicable).

SCOPE OF DUTIES

Our patients require daily medical and activity living  (ADL) support. While care aides provide most of the ADL support,  they are rarely trained to perform medical nursing procedures.


Our team members can perform the following medical nursing (not exhaustive):
 Insertion and care of nasogastric feeding tube (Ryles tube)
 Insertion and care of continuous bladder drainage (Foley catheter)
 Insertion and care of intravenous cannulation and venipuncture
 Management and care of tracheostomy tube
 Management and care of colostomy bag
 Resuscitation of a cardiac arrest victim according to BCLS and ACLS procedure
 Wound dressing (including debridement) and treatment of all levels of pressure sores and care of episiotomy wound, and external bleeding management.
 Spinal management to avoid secondary injury.
 Assist physicians and nurses for invasive therapeutic procedures.
 Vital signs monitoring
 Daily report for activities daily living (ADL)

*NB: The above fees are for medical service only. Any medical items and equipment which may be used on patient shall be charged accordingly, with prior notice on such costs or fees to the patient’s family member(s)


Mileage shall be chargable from our HQ in Bukit Jelutong to respective patient's house.
